Introducing UNGA at APSMUN

In this era of globalization, learning about the world is more important than ever. No matter what field or profession students enter, they will interact with people from different countries and diverse backgrounds. Problems taking place halfway around the globe impact our lives, our country, and our communities. Hence, we at Aster Public School believe in creating an enlightened school community of critical thinkers, collaborative lifelong learners and empathetic human beings who are responsible citizens dedicated to the common good of the world.

MUN has always been an activity that creates well rounded individuals out of its participants. From international politics, to basic courtesy, quick thinking and problem solving, it truly teaches it all. Such platforms also prepare students for the real world by helping them shape opinions and bring them into their own not just as children, but as citizens of the world. As we struggle through the current situation, it has become painfully apparent that the old ways are no longer sufficient- we must adapt, we must evolve, and we must look towards new ways of education, as through this we must also explore ways of learning that are more than just sitting in a classroom- or in the current situation, on our phones- listening to a lecture. Education must become dynamic, not to mention there is so much more to learn than just what we see in our textbooks. Children nowadays must be well aware of the social and political issues which are shaping the world today. At Aster Public School, we are proud to have a strong supportive managing director and forward-thinking leadership who have been a constant source of motivation for APSGN MUN.

We eagerly look forward to intellectually stimulating exchange of ideas and dialogues and making this conference an excellent learning experience and a grand success.

Warm Regards
