Introducing Lok Sabha at APSMUN
Democracy is not a new concept in India. India has a long tradition of tolerance of different views and
creeds, which is the hallmark of any true democracy. All citizens have the right to express their opinions
freely and thereby contribute to the taking right decisions and passing of good laws that govern the
country.
Education should make students competent enough to consider public issues and form their
opinion on
them judiciously. A good citizen is supposed to be an expert in human relations. This expertness is needed
at many points; in intergroup relations; across the table in discussion; in family affairs; in local and
national affairs. The meaning of citizenship is not only confined to knowing rights and duties but also
extended to areas of human behaviour. We must have a suitable programme to train our students in the field
of human behaviour.
Therefore, Aster Public School is providing a stage devised to train students
for their
role as citizens in a democracy.
At Aster Public School, we are proud to have a strong supportive
managing
director and forward-thinking leadership who have been a constant source of motivation for conducting LOK
SABHA as one of its committees in APSGN MUN CLUB.
We eagerly look forward to an intellectually
stimulating
exchange of ideas and dialogues and to making this conference an excellent learning experience and a grand
success.
Warm Regards
